Winners of the Swedish Embedded Award chosen

The award was presented in a festive manner at the Embedded Conference in Kistamässan.

 

The winners of the three award categories Business, Student and IoT are as follows:

In the category Enterprise Qamcom Research and Technology AB won with the entry "QR77SAW". The radar system that ensures that crossings between train tracks are clear when trains pass.

For the best contribution from students Two winners were named this year. Gabriel Ortiz Betancour and Fredrik Treven from Chalmers University of Technology, with the entry ”Ultra-wideband Tracker” – a robot that can ”follow John”.



and

Anna Blasi, Elmar van Rijnswou and Maximilian Stiefel from Uppsala University, with the contribution "UppSense" for cardiac monitoring.

In the new category IoT Device Radio AB won with the contribution "Multi-Link", a platform that makes it easier to connect hardware in IoT applications.

The award was established to highlight and demonstrate the endless possibilities of electronics and to stimulate and encourage more and more smart solutions that in turn create stronger competitiveness.
