Tips from PTS: Web guide for The path to the correct CE marking

Avoid common mistakes

PTS has developed a web-based guide "”The path to the correct CE marking”" which will make it easier for companies to avoid the most common CE mistakes and CE mark their products correctly. Several companies need to be aware of the EU regulations that apply to products sold in Sweden to be safe to use and not risk interfering with other radio equipment.

PTS's work with market surveillance

PTS works for an interference-free radio environment and guides companies that manufacture, import and sell products with radio components and checks that they comply with the requirements set for radio equipment sold in Sweden. The requirements are regulated in the so-called Radio Equipment Directive. The directive affects both those who manufacture a product with radio components and those who sell products to other companies or consumers.

PTS is one of several authorities responsible for market surveillance in Sweden.
