Svensk Elektronik grows with veterans in the industry
With almost 60 years in the industry, Angland Electronics has developed its business according to technological developments and market needs. The company was founded in 1961 by Knut Angland. As a designer at ASEA in the 1950s, he realized what the transistor would mean for electronics and people's everyday lives.
The company's operations began with the production of control relays for residential oil burners. During the oil crisis in the 1970s, the focus shifted instead to products for nuclear power plants. Today, Angland uses its long experience to develop and sell products for real-time measurement, control and monitoring of electrical quantities. The company's customers are primarily among machine builders and in the power industry.
Pontus Angland, CEO of Angland Electronics, came into contact with Svensk Elektronik through a training course for Smarter Electronics. ”Getting networking and industry insight, for example on how the various EU directives should be applied, is important for us,” says Pontus, a third-generation owner.
A warm welcome to Svensk Elektronik, Angland Electronics. We now look forward to working together for a successful electronics industry.
