Swedish Electronics becomes partner

The move will take place at the turn of the year to TEBAB, Teknikföretagen's service company that operates and develops 27 independent trade organizations in various technology areas. Svensk Elektronik, including Lena Norder, will move in at the turn of the year.

– This is a development of the good cooperation we have had over the years, including around the new environmental directives (WEEE, RoHS, etc.), says the chairman of the trade association, Maria Månsson, and continues:

– The technology companies are a strong party in the Swedish arena and we have seen that they work with roughly the same core issues as us: maintaining industrial production in Sweden, securing the supply of skills, influencing rules and directives, developing Sweden as a world-class industrial country – and making it visible. They are involved in contexts where we would like to add the electronics industry's perspective.

– Svensk Elektronik represents an exciting industry that complements our existing areas in an excellent way. Svensk Elektronik is also an organization with deep commitment to substantive issues that are very valuable to both Teknikföretagen and TEBAB. We look forward to a very good collaboration, says Robert Kingfors, CEO of TEBAB.
