To utilize the professional network that the association offers, we make sure to meet in different groups. It is in creative meetings that we can create opportunities and solutions that strengthen our member companies and the industry as a whole. Under Sections, members gather according to their activities, with the aim of focusing on issues of particular interest to the group.

ICT Energy

The ICT Energy team, supported by Svensk Elektronik is an open section, dedicated to support companies active in Sweden and the Nordics.

We help sharing information of latest technologies and trends to make sure Nordic companies active in the ICT Energy field will remain strong and competitive.

Target members and audience are suppliers, users, service providers, consultants, and others active in the following areas of the ICT industry:

  • Generation of energy locally (eg diesel generators, solar panels)
  • Power and voltage conversion (rectifiers, inverters, UPS, DC/DC converters etc)
  • Energy storage (eg batteries, fuel cells)
  • AC or DC power supply (eg distribution units, fuse panels)
  • Management, monitoring, and optimization of the energy supply of ICT systems
  • Electrical safety, grounding, lightning protection

 

Svensk Elektronik creates meeting places and competence supply in the area through:

  • Conferences and events to strengthen national competence. We base the content of these on what is happening in the field internationally
  • Networking

Embedded R&D Forum

Target group:

Developers, designers and suppliers of electronics and embedded systems.

Operation:

Svensk Elektronik runs a forum for Embedded R&D focused on the value chain that develops and delivers services for the production of electronics and embedded systems (hardware and software). The forum covers both technology, global monitoring and discussion of trends in components, tools, regulations and processes. The forum contributes to Svensk Elektronik's meeting places and platforms for networking and business.

Power Electronics Section

Power electronics are found in almost all electronic products. It can be anything from internal voltage conversion, battery-related or connected to external power supply. It is also highly relevant today due to the need for climate change, reduced energy consumption and fossil-free electricity. Both the infrastructure for energy supply and the electrification of, for example, the vehicle fleet require more power electronics and greater knowledge in this area of technology.
