SEE – an important arena for the industry

We have now concluded the Scandinavian Electronics Event, SEE 2018 – our broad industry fair for business and knowledge, as well as skills provision. We have now begun the work of summarizing this year's SEE to look ahead, how we can innovate and improve even more for next time. Welcome to join us in that work!

Here are some votes about this year's SEE.

Mikael Joki, CEO Eskilstuna ElektronikPartner, chairman of Svensk Elektronik:
It is with pride for this fantastic industry that I look back on a successful SEE 2018. Over three days, we have managed to bring together a value chain that enables so much for so many and highlight the essential importance of electronic hardware in our societal development, which was highlighted several times during the panel discussion. And if you did not visit the Electronic Space and Girls in ICT area, you missed the most forward-looking activity to secure the industry's skills supply and gender balance over time.
We have met many visitors with decision-making mandates. We hope that you, like us, have started many new good business discussions!

Martin Danielsson, CEO Würth Elektronik:
This year's SEE has been fantastic for Würth Elektronik. We have been able to present a lot of new products and meet many new exciting customers. We never meet so many customers in such a short time as during these days. We look forward to the next SEE 2020 which will continue to be the most important meeting point for the Swedish electronics industry.

Tom Dahlén, Regional Sales Manager Arrow Electronics:
SEE is an important meeting place to meet customers in person. We see SEE as an opportunity to check the development and needs of our customers while at the same time giving us a chance to talk about where we are going. SEE is a good arena to attract younger people to the industry and thus secure our future supply of skills.

Per-Anders Emilson, CEO PA Emilson:
At SEE 2018 we met the customers we wanted to connect with. The content and the quality of the visitors exceeded our expectations. The combination of SEE 2018 and Intelec/Kraftforum was a perfect match.

Per Westin, Product Marketing Displays & ARM, EG Electronics:
With good preparation you get good results. We had a lot to show. The combination of looking at different concrete solutions and at the same time having a dialogue about what exactly they see and what can be done is unbeatable. The Internet cannot offer that. SEE is an important arena for the Swedish electronics industry. It's good that we also reach young people here.

Maria Månsson Director, innovation and research, Prevas AB:
It is so incredibly inspiring and educational to meet and listen to the entire industry, all links in the value chain, over three packed days. The event creates business opportunities and builds competitiveness for companies and for Swedish industry. This year there was also Electronic Space and Girls in ICT, important initiatives to attract young talent to our industry.
