New old delivery terms – SEAL2012

Based on EL98 and IML2009, Svensk Elektronik has designed SEAL2012 – Svensk Elektronik General Delivery Conditions. This is in line with the fact that IM and EIF, which were the publishers of IML and EL, are now called Svensk Elektronik.
Basically the same conditions, but now with the ”right” name.

A service to the business industry!

Good business conditions are important for the industry and thus an important task for the industry organization.
Svensk Elektronik manages and carries on the good tradition of providing and further developing good and well-balanced business conditions for the industry. When the IM Association and the Swedish Electronics Industry Association merged, Svensk Elektronik took with it a "good legacy", including the delivery conditions IML and EL - conditions that have been developed by and for the industry. Both are well-established conditions that the previous associations have provided over the years.

SEAL doesn't really contain any news – IML and EL are quite similar in content. The big difference is primarily the name. It is natural that we ensure that the name of the industry terms is related to the name of the industry organization.

There are also other business terms to adapt from previous IM and EIF and this will be done gradually. We are also reviewing the need for new development of other business terms.
