Due to the heightened security situation in our immediate area

Confederation of Swedish Enterprise Last week, the Swedish Security Association (SSA) urged its member companies to review their security protection and exercise increased caution. The call applies to all companies and organizations and is due to the increased number of thefts committed against industrial companies in Sweden recently.

"We are seeing a synchronization of thefts in areas that deviate from normal. Links between the thefts and the increased need for components, materiel and equipment that has arisen as a result of Russia's offensive war against Ukraine cannot be ruled out," says Johan Sjöberg, responsible for security and defense policy issues at the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise to Svensk Elektronik.

The Swedish Police Press Service urges continued vigilance and emphasizes the importance of reporting crimes to the authorities as per normal procedure. In connection with the suspected sabotage against the gas pipelines in the Baltic Sea, the Swedish Security Service urged actors responsible for central infrastructure in energy supply to sharpen their ability to detect and prevent incidents.
