The conference program for Embedded Conference Scandinavia is released today

We have a packed conference program with almost 70 speakers over two days, about half of whom are international. ECS will build on the strong trend of the Internet of Things and advanced sensors applied to the automotive industry. The three focus areas are ”Connected systems of embedded systems”, ”Embedded software development and use” and ”Embedded systems in the automotive industry” with an emphasis on automatic and autonomous vehicles. This year, ECS has no less than four major keynotes.

This year's keynotes

  • Digitalization – The Fourth Industrial Revolution!? - Tomas Lagerberg, ABB Corporate Research
  • Knowledge – The True Shortcut? – Kristina Forsberg, SAAB
  • Securing the embedded Internet of Things –Henrik Vikberg, Cisco
  • Only Great Developers Make Great IoT Solutions – Magnus Melander, SMSE and THINGS

In addition to the three focus areas, the program offers several sessions on software quality, testing and maintenance. In addition, various aspects related to operating systems and open source code are covered in several sessions. Security in embedded systems and components is another important area that is touched on from several perspectives. In hardware, we cover FPGAs, low-power design and the latest in small COTS modules and standards.

The full program is now published on www.embeddedconference.se

ECS will take place on 22-23 November 2016 at Kistamässan in Stockholm. In addition to the five-track conference, there is a substantial exhibition where about 80 companies and organizations will show the latest products and services within embedded and IoT. The winners of the annual Swedish Embedded Award will also be presented here. Visiting the event is free of charge, but advance registration is required. Registration is now open.
