The shortage of semiconductors is the theme at the conference in Gothenburg on September 13, 2021

The date and location of the conference are September 13, at 09.00 – 16.00 on Lindholmen Conference Centre in Gothenburg. The day will be mixed with short presentations and interactive strategy discussions to identify future Swedish cutting-edge areas, both for those on site and those participating digitally. Our moderator for the day is Maria Berghall.

During the day we will hear from major Swedish companies about how their production is threatened by the semiconductor shortage. We will also present our survey of Swedish semiconductor companies, where they are located and what they do.
We also hear from some of the successful companies from the larger clusters, e.g. Flint, Gapwaves and AlixLabs. We will also present the latest results from recently completed projects. Furthermore, external monitoring will be presented (in English).
IDEA – International Distribution of Electronics Association presents the latest statistics for the European component market, as well as European electronics future – presentation of the 2021 European Electronics Strategy Elisabeth Steimetz, Chair of EPoSS.
In addition, Departmental Secretary Magnus Rentzhog will be from Ministry of Industry, Trade and Industry inform about the Swedish Industrial Strategy.
