Jan Linder's EMC laboratory
Jan Linder's EMC laboratory has over 25 years of experience in EMC testing and has helped over 500 satisfied customers. The test facility is located in Lindholmen Science Park, Gothenburg, and includes a semi-attenuated measurement hall with a 3-meter measurement path for emission and immunity.
Testing covers several areas, including generic, radio, automotive components, marine, military, ITE and lighting, as well as the Low Voltage Directive (LVD) and the Machinery Directive through partners. In addition to testing, offers Jan Linder's EMC laboratory consulting on EMC and EMI issues.
The laboratory strives to meet quality standards for testing laboratories and is a member of Svensk Elektronik (SE). Jan Linders has general authorization up to 1000 VAC.
The business started in 1991 in renewable energy, primarily wind power, but shifted focus to EMC in the mid-1990s to meet the increasing need. Jan Linder's EMC laboratory is based on strong technical expertise with a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering and postgraduate education from Chalmers.
