– "The project money will strengthen the work on skills supply, knowledge transfer and interaction in the value chains and sharpen identified technical cutting-edge areas. The goal is increased innovation and competitiveness for both the industry and large parts of other Swedish industry," says Maria Månsson, Prevas, chairwoman of the Swedish Electronics Industry Association.

This means that the research and innovation agenda Smarter Electronic Systems will now go from words to action and become a strategic innovation area for ICT Electronic Components and Systems.
